Coffee With A Cop At Murrieta Target, Wednesday

Have you ever wanted to ask a police officer some questions about your town? Here's your chance.

MURRIETA, CA—The Murrieta Police Department is inviting the city to coffee on Wednesday through the Coffee with a Cop program.

"Do you like coffee? Do you want to meet some of the Murrieta Officers who work in your community? Then we have an event for you," the department posted on social media.

The Coffee with a Cop event will take place from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Target store, 41040 California Oaks Road, Murrieta.

"Come get to know some of the officers, voice your concerns, or learn more about the Murrieta Police Department," they said.

The Coffee with a Cop program is a national mission to break down barriers between police officers and the citizens they serve. According to the national website, the hope is that officers will take time in a casual atmosphere at local businesses and restaurants to meet each other in person and build trust.
