Dance Camp Offered Through City of Murrieta

Miss April's Dance is holding a four-day dance camp July 5, 6, 7 and 8.

Pull out the dancing shoes, it is time for Miss April's Dance Camp.

The camp, offered through the City of Murrieta Community Services Department, will take place between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. July 5, 6, 7 and 8 at the , 41810 Juniper St., Murrieta.

Dancers as young as 3 on up to 18 years old can experience a variety of dance styles during the four-day camp. Thirty-six sessions will be offered by three instructors, including ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, lyrical and funk( hip hop).

Begnning classes are offered for those ages 3 to 8. Intermediate classes start at age 9 and go up to unlimited age, with a 15-minute break in between sessions.

"We are encouraging kids to sign up for the day to experience styles they love, but also try something new!" said April Vidal, lead instructor. "You can take one class each day, or one class period; you can three classes one day or three classes each day."

Each class if offered for $10. Sign up in advance at Murrieta.org. From the main screen, click on Programs, then Music and Performing Arts, then Miss April's Dance, then Miss April's Summer Session. From there, select the classes you wish to register for.

Classes will be taught by Miss April, Miss Nissa-Belle and Miss Riley.
