Defective Traffic Signal Slows Morning Commute In Southwest RivCo
Traffic signals malfunctioned Thursday morning near Winchester Road.
WINCHESTER, CA — Traffic signals malfunctioned early Thursday near the community of Winchester, according to reports from the California Highway Patrol Dispatch Operators.
Shortly before 6 a.m., the stoplights at the intersection of Domenigoni Parkway and Rice Road had ceased to function, they said. The malfunctioning signal caused a traffic backup through the intersection.
Commuters should check for alternate routes.
As of 8:40 a.m., it was not immediately clear if the lights had returned to normal function.
