Discovery Isle in Murrieta Donates More Than 60 Pairs of Pajamas

Students at Discovery Isle Preschool in Murrieta recently organized a family movie night and pajama drive in support of Scholastic’s 11th Annual Great Bedtime Story Pajama Drive. The event was held at a local movie theater, where students wore pajamas, enjoyed hot cocoa and snacks, and watched a holiday movie with their families. During the event, students collected more than 60 pairs of new pajamas to donate to local children in need. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of giving to others.

Scholastic’s Great Bedtime Story Pajama Drive is an annual initiative in support of the Pajama Program, a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that promotes and supports a comforting bedtime routine for children affected by instability to help them thrive. Pajama Program was founded in 2001 and has delivered more than 6 million good nights for good days. For every pair of pajamas donated, Scholastic Book Clubs will donate a brand-new book to Pajama Program to be distributed to children in need.
