Don't Make This Your Unlucky Day: RivCo DUI Patrols Planned On Fri. The 13th

Drivers, be advised that the Riverside County Sheriff's Department will be watching for DUI drivers on Friday night. Here's where.

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — The Riverside County Sheriff’s Officers will be out on February 13th, from 6 p.m. to 3 a.m., looking for drivers suspected of driving under the influence (DUI) in the Jurupa Valley area and beyond.

“Impaired driving is preventable,” Deputy Ditfurth said. “It’s a choice."

If you’ve been drinking or plan on taking drugs that impair, make the right choice by finding a sober driver or alternate transportation to take you places, he suggests.

The department reminds the public that impaired driving is not just from alcohol.

Some prescription medications and over-the-counter drugs may interfere with driving. Always follow directions for use and read warning labels about driving. While medicinal and recreational marijuana are legal, driving under the influence of marijuana is illegal.
