FRENCH VALLEY, CA — A vehicle slammed into a French Valley business Tuesday, causing structural damage to the building, Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department shared.

Shortly after 10:30 a.m., a white Honda CR-V struck the storefront of the Natural Pet Food and Supplies building on the 39200 block of Winchester Road.

The building's structural integrity was compromised, but Building and Safety workers deemed it safe to remain open. A woman was seen on a stretcher with medics; however, no word on her condition was immediately given.

Patch spoke with a worker when they were allowed to return inside after conditions were deemed safe. Though front windows were broken, the business is still open, a store worker told Patch. "People who want their supplies can come on in."

Firefighters immediately checked for injuries but did not identify anyone requiring medical attention, including the motorist, whose identity was not disclosed.
