Michael Rayner’s show, which has been described as “preposterous brilliance” and “whacky jugglement,” is a combination of hilarious tricks and stunts with uproarious stand-up comedy and a bounty of improvised fun that is appropriate for the entire family. The performance will be held in the Library’s Community Room on Wednesday, June 13 at 10:30 a.m.
Rayner is a favorite on Nickelodeon, having performed his antics on What Would You Do? and Nick Arcade. Cory Edwards, director of the popular children’s movie "Hoodwinked", describes Michael’s juggling show as “Unpredictably funny; not only does he do amazing things with simple household objects, Michael is just a genuinely comical guy, without even trying. Even off stage, you can't keep a straight face when he's around.” Rayner’s signature trick is spinning a McDonald’s cheeseburger on an umbrella, which garnered him an appearance on The David Letterman Show. Other TV appearances include Sesame Street, The Extreme Gong Show, Thirty Seconds to Fame and various local TV shows and commercials.
This event is free and open to the public. Space is limited; tickets are available 30 minutes prior to the event.
