"Lord, Help My Poor Soul" is a stunningly crafted
award-winning one man tour-de-force which presents the tortured life, troubled
loves, 
greatest works, and the mysterious death of the renowned poet,fiction-writer, essayist, magazine editor, and literary critic Edgar Allan Poe,also known as the Master of the Macabre, who penned such famous and celebrated works as The Tell-Tale Heart, The Murders in the Rue Morgue, Fall of the House of Usher, The Masque of the Red Death, Annabelle Lee, The Raven, and many other haunting classics of romantic horror, and poetry.

Though thought by many to be a combative & dark soul,"Lord," also presents the gregarious side of Poe from his youth and finally delves into the nightmares of his tumultuous love-life, financial failures, and battles with alcoholism, and mental illness.

 "Lord, Help My Poor Soul" has played at The Seventh Street Theatre in Chino, The Grove in Upland, Riverside Community Players, Performance Riverside, Discovery Theatre, and The Tre-Stage Theatre in Hollywood, also performed at The Riverside Dickens Fest for two years, as well as made numerous appearances at middle and High Schools throughout the IE

  •  The show has earned three ITL Awards. Two(2010 and 2011) for Travis Rhett in the role of Poe, for John Lynd for Writer/Director(2011)

Saturday October 6, 20, & 27 @ 7:30pm,            Sunday, October 7,14, & 21 @ 2pm,
