Murrieta, Ca. JUNE 18-23 @ VMHS Performing Arts Center Theater 101 Productions in conjuction with Vista Murrieta/Chaparral Drama Dept. presents "MASTER CLASS WITH DANNY GURWIN &
Celebration Broadway Concert". Featuring Major Broadway Performers in a Broadway Type Concert.  Accepting early sign ups (deposits) Feb 15 for College and HS Singing/Theater Majors. Youth Classes forming too! 6 Days
of classes (first two with Cory Finch VMHS, Chris Irvin CHS and Jennifer Page for song selections, the next four with Danny Gurwin) culminating in a fantastic concert. All Workshop participants get a minimum of two ensemble pieces and the potential for Show Solo as picked
by our panel.

DANNY GURWIN - Danny is an
Arty-Award winning director for his work on the Solano Rep. production of THE LAST FIVE YEARS.  Other directing credits include productions of
CHESS, HAIR, NEXT TO NORMAL, numerous showcases for The American Musical
& Dramatic Academy (AMDA) - the College of Performing Arts (where
he resides on faculty), and a recent stint as Artist-in-Residence for
The University of Michigan's Musical Theatre Department directing their
Fall production of LITTLE WOMEN.  In addition, Danny is a renowned
teacher heading Musical Theatre master classes & camps at UCLA,
Western Michigan University, Youngstown University (OH), Clarke College
(IA), both the Orange County & Las Vegas High School of the Arts,
Segrestrom Center for the Performing Arts, the Showchoir Camps of
America, as well as Thespian conferences around the country.  This
Spring he will judge the National High School Showchoir Competition
Championships.  As an actor, he has starred on Broadway in THE SCARLET
PIMPERNEL, THE FULL MONTY, URINETOWN, LITTLE WOMEN, KISMET, A LITTLE
NIGHT MUSIC, and HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS.  Numerous off-Broadway,
regional, recording, and concert work.
