How many of you know about Liebfraumilch? This is the white wine often panned by wine critics that many people have heard of, but have never tasted. When I traveled to Germany a few years ago, this was the wine served to Chris and I by our German hosts at a dinner welcoming us to the Rhineland. It was light and tasty and paired nicely with the German foods we were served. This Friday and Saturday we’ll try this interesting wine along with a 93 Point White from the Russian River Valley, a new Malbec from Argentina, and a light and fruity new Chianti. We’ll finish up with two extraordinary wines, one from the tiny village of Fitou in France, and a big, absolutely delicious 90 Point Petite Syrah from Northern California. German wine, French wine, Italian wine, California wine, Argentine wine! All in one fun evening! It must be Wine O’Clock at Dudley’s! Call your friends and make your plans or come on in on your own!
The tasting begins at 5:30pm and is casual and come as you are! The cost is $12 to taste all of these delicious wines. We look forward to seeing you at Dudley’s Wine & Gifts.
