Expert to Speak Locally About College Sports Recruiting
Jack Renkens will give a one-hour free presentation titled "The Realities of College Recruiting" at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Vista Murrieta High School.
High school athletes and their parents are invited to learn more about the college sports recruiting process at an event scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22.
Vista Murrieta High School's Athletic Department is hosting Jack Renkens, who will present "The Realities of College Recruiting." The free, one-hour presentation will take place in the Vista Murrieta Performing Arts Center, 28251 Clinton Keith Road, Murrieta.
Renkens is a national recruiting expert who has presented more than 2,500 seminars across the nation to high schools, national sports clinics, sports camps, athletic directors and coaches, according to a news release.

This presentation is to help athletes and parents learn about athletic scholarships and the process involved in playing college sports and will cover subjects like: NCAA eligibility and the clearinghouse, how college coaches recruit, how to market yourself and the realities of playing sports at the college level.
