Explosions, Booms Coming From Camp Pendleton
"This training may be heard anytime throughout the day or night," according to a statement shared on social media by the base.

SOUTHWEST RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — Those house-rattling booms that are rocking Southwest Riverside County Tuesday are expected to continue this week, officials at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton advised.
A noise advisory was issued by the base due to live-fire training with high-explosive munitions that the troops are conducting in the Whiskey/Zulu Impact area of Camp Pendleton, base officials reported. The impact area is west of Temecula, and as the crow flies, is less than 20 air miles from the city. The impact area is about 9 miles away from Oceanside.
