MURRIETA, CA — The Riverside-based restaurant chain, Farmer Boys, popular for its farm-to-table fare and hearty breakfasts, plans to open a second Murrieta locale in August on Clinton Keith Road.

“We’re excited to continue growing the Farmer Boys family,” said the new site's franchisees, Jeff and Shirley Barnes, who also operate two other locations in Riverside County. "Since joining the Farmer Boys family 17 years ago, the communities we serve and every guest that has walked into a Farmer Boys location is an extension of our farm fresh family.”

Along with its loyal following for its burgers, stacked sandwiches and signature zucchini sticks and onion rings, Farmer Boys also is a longtime supporter of Loma Linda University Children's Health, and is known for such over-the-top promos as hiring a teacher as a "bacon intern" and temporarily changing its name to "Farmer Girls" as part of Women's History Month.
