RIVERSIDE COUNTY, Ca - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire rose Tuesday for the 18th time in 19 days, increasing 1.9 cents to $2.662.
The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties has risen 34 cents over the past 19 days, including 1 cent on Monday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price is 16.7 cents higher than one week ago and 15.2 cents greater than one month ago, but 75.4 cents less than one year ago because the price dropped 71.3 cents during a stretch of 48 decreases in 49 days that
immediately preceded the run of rising prices.
