Fine Art Classes for Students

Year round art instruction offered to any student with a desire to take their skills to the next level. Absolutely no experience necessary!  

CLASS OFFERINGS:

PLAY! (Ages 6-9)

This fundamental class introduces younger students to incremental lessons on drawing, painting and sculpture. Children make their mark with an array of materials like pastels, watercolor, clay and pencil. Projects engage the child in the lesson while still allowing freedom to explore their own ideas!

FOUNDATIONS
 (Ages 8-12)

This foundational course develops skills through practical experience in the concepts of drawing and painting. Through demonstration, class exercises, and individual projects, students work with color-mixing, texture, perspective, scale, measurement, composition, and technique

HONORS ART (Ages 12-17)


This intermediate course builds upon fundamental skills while encouraging students to begin thinking deeper about their work. In-depth lessons, studies on art movements, weekly sketchbook assignments, and individual art projects create an exciting platform for building more confidence as an artist and in drawing and painting technique alike.
