Gas Prices Continue to Drop Around Murrieta

Have you felt some relief at the pump?

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire dropped 1.6 cents Thursday to $3.025, its lowest amount since Oct. 8, 2010.

The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties has dropped 60 of the past 62 days and is 4.2 cents less than one week ago, 25.2 cents lower than one month ago and 56.8 cents below what it was one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The 1.6-cent decrease is the largest single-day drop since a 1.6-cent decrease on Nov. 19.
