Gas Prices Near Murrieta Continue to Fall
Prices have been decreasing in the region for the last 32 days, AAA reports.
The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire dropped Tuesday for the 32nd consecutive day following a 35-day streak of increases, decreasing six-tenths of a cent to $3.168.
The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties has dropped 31.7 cents over the past 32 days, including four-tenths of a cent on Monday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It rose $1.087 during the 35-day streak of increases.
The average price is 4.2 cents less than one week ago, 31.4 cents lower than one month ago and 90.5 cents below what it was one year ago.

“We continue to see the effects of lower oil prices helping to drive down refinery costs,” Marie Montgomery of the Automobile Club of Southern California told City News Service.
“Supply issues in Southern California have stabilized, but wholesale prices have jumped up a bit, most likely in anticipation of increased demand during spring and summer. That could mean gas station prices don’t have too much further to fall in coming weeks.”
