Gas Prices Near Murrieta Continue to Rise
Prices recorded their 12th day of increases Tuesday.
The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire rose Tuesday the 12th consecutive day following a 41-day streak of decreases, increasing 2.8 cents to $3.445.
The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties has risen 33.6 cents over the past 12 days, including 2.8 cents on Monday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price is 26.7 cents more than one week ago and 21.9 cents higher than one month ago, but 84.1 cents less than one year ago.

The recent increases are the result of reduced supply caused by a partial reduction of production at Chevron’s Richmond refinery in Northern California following flaring last Tuesday, according to Jeffrey Spring, the Automobile Club of Southern California’s corporate communications manager
