Gas Prices Near Murrieta Reach 4.5-Month Low

Inland Empire prices are at the lowest levels since March 19.

RIVERSIDE, CA - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire dropped Tuesday to its lowest amount since March 19, decreasing 1.3 cents to $2.715.

The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties has dropped 22 consecutive days and 26 of the past 27, decreasing 20.3 cents, including eight-tenths of a cent on Monday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price is 8.2 cents less than a week ago, 19.8 cents lower than one month ago and $1.268 below what it was one year ago.

The average price dropped for four consecutive days, rose one-tenth of a cent on July 11 and resumed dropping July 12.
