Gasoline Price Drops for 38th Day Near Murrieta

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire dropped Monday for the 38th consecutive day following a 35-day streak of increases, decreasing two-tenths of a cent to $3.122.
The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties has dropped 36.3 cents over the past 38 days, including eight-tenths of a cent on Sunday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It rose $1.087 during the 35-day streak of increases.
The average price is 5.2 cents less than one week ago, 31.8 cents lower than one month ago and $1.09 below what it was one year ago.
