Gasoline Price Near Murrieta Drops to Lowest Amount Since Feb. 18

The average Inland Empire gas price is now $2.864.

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire dropped today to its lowest amount since Feb. 18, decreasing a half-cent to $2.864, one day after increasing one-tenth of a cent.

Tuesday’s increase was the third in a 74-day span, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties had also risen six-tenths of a cent on Oct. 8 and two-tenths of a cent on Sept. 28.

The average price has dropped 92.4 cents over the past 75 days and is 3.7 cents lower than one week ago, 17.6 cents less than one month ago and 50.2 cents below what it was one year ago.
