Gasoline Price Near Murrieta Records Largest Daily Decline Since November 2012

The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties has dropped 73 of the past 75 days.

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire Wednesday recorded its largest daily decrease since Nov. 2, 2012, dropping 2.8 cents to $2.813, its lowest amount since June 4, 2009.

The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties has dropped 73 of the past 75 days, decreasing 84.9 cents over that span, including 2.1 cents on Tuesday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price is 14 cents less than one week ago, 33 cents lower than one month ago and 79.8 cents below what it was one year ago.
