Gasoline Prices Near Murrieta Drop for Third Consecutive Day

Despite the recent decreases, the average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties is higher than a month ago.

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire dropped two-tenths of a cent Monday to $2.767, the third consecutive decrease following a nine-day streak of rising prices.

Despite the recent decreases, the average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties is seven-tenths of a cent more than one week ago and 7.4 cents higher than one month ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. But it is 18.4 cents less than at this time last year.

The average price rose 6.1 cents during the nine-day streak of increases. It dropped one-tenth of a cent on Saturday and six-tenths of a cent on Sunday.
