'Goodies 4 Goblins' Takes Place Saturday In Murrieta: Free Treats
Murrieta's inaugural "Goodies 4 Goblins" starts at 5:30 p.m. The family event is free.
MURRIETA, CA — The Murrieta Police Department is hosting a free Halloween event Saturday to provide a safe place for kids to trick-or-treat, while also offering parents and guardians an opportunity to meet and mix with law enforcement personnel.
Murrieta's inaugural "Goodies 4 Goblins" is being held Oct. 30 in Town Square Park, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
According to the police department, in addition to treats for kids, officers, firefighters and community service personnel will have information booths set up on disaster preparedness, building safety and library services.
After the treats are distributed, the film "Beetlejuice" will be shown on a big screen set up in the park.
The event will be free and open to the public.
