Head-On Crash Leaves 1 Person Critically Injured In Winchester

WINCHESTER, CA — One person was critically injured in a head-on crash Tuesday morning in Winchester, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.

The crash was reported at 6:45 a.m. at Borel Road and Avenida De Laura.

When firefighters arrived at the scene, one person trapped in the wreckage had to be extricated, according to the fire department.

The victim was hospitalized in critical condition, the agency said.

No other injuries were reported.

The crash cause was being investigated by the California Highway Patrol.
