Howard's Appliance Store Now Open In Murrieta

MURRIETA, CA —Howard's, a large-scale Southern California-based appliance and home retailer, has opened its newest location in Murrieta.

Located at 39837 Alta Murrieta Drive, Howard's held its ribbon cutting Friday with the Murrieta Chamber of Commerce and city officials, heralding a new way to shop for appliances at a time when many big box stores reported closing across Riverside County.

"The city is very excited to see them up and running," Scott Agajanian, Murrieta's Director of Economic Development, told Patch.

As opposed to other appliance retailers, Howard's calls its showrooms "experience centers." The storefront gives customers a unique, personalized experience when purchasing new appliances for their homes.

The showroom is genuinely a "hands-on" experience.

Inside the vast space, customers can interact with working kitchens, make a cup of coffee, test washers and dryers with your oversized comforters, or talk to employees before deciding how to incorporate new technologies into their Southwest Riverside County homes.

Each section of the store is set up by type of appliance and further narrowed down by brand. Have you always wondered what it really was like to cook on a Thermador cooktop? Howard's can afford you that luxury.

"You can cook on these appliances, have a cup of coffee while you're chatting with designers, we work hard to give our guests the best-educated advice and suggestions, that's part of our job," Houman Adlou, a Howard's Corporate Trainer said in an online video. We take pride in doing that very well."

From Televisions to mattresses, from ovens to washers and dryers, before you make your next purchase, the Murrieta Chamber of Commerce invites you to stop inside Howard's and take a look.

"We’re thrilled to have such an innovative addition in the area," the Murrieta Chamber of Commerce reported over Facebook. "If you’re not familiar with Howard’s, their experience store gives you the opportunity to test their products right there in the store. They want you to feel confident in your big purchases for your home that you will likely be using every single day."
