I-215 Fatal Crash Stalls Friday Traffic Through RivCo
A semi-truck collision proved fatal for one driver Friday morning.
RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — One person died Friday morning in a two-vehicle crash involving a big rig on the Southbound I-215 Freeway in Riverside.
At 5:15 a.m., the crash occurred on the southbound side of the freeway south of Martin Luther King Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
As of 9:30 a.m., two right lanes of the freeway remained closed and a SigAlert was issued and traffic is backed up to the Riverside (60) Freeway.

Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department was called to assist at the scene, and the Riverside County coroner's office was called to collect the victim's body, and notify next of kin.
