I-215 NB Lanes Slow As Drivers Navigate Potholes In Murrieta

Drivers, be aware: a large pothole has opened in the slow lane, potentially damaging at least five cars.

MURRIETA, CA — California Highway Patrol alerted drivers that a large pothole on I-215 had potentially damaged five cars Monday morning.

At 9:15 a.m., CHP dispatch reported a large pothole in the slow lane of the freeway near Keller Road.

Five cars were forced onto the right side of the I-215 northbound lanes, according to a passerby.

CalTrans was called to the scene to conduct emergency repairs. No other information was immediately available.
