IndieGoGo Campaign Launched To Help Open Local Business

Best friends Kathy McKinstry and Sara Jacques decided to form a partnership and open their very own luxury health and wellness spa over two years ago, but they had no idea the trials they would endure while establishing themselves as entrepreneurs. The pair met six years ago as Sara sought a daycare provider for her two daughters and found Kathy, a retired Marine, and mother to two daughters of her own. Very soon the arrangement bloomed into a forever friendship. The two families were inseparable until last May, when Kathy’s husband Marcus suddenly passed away due to a brain aneurysm. After spending time in Ohio with Marcus’ family, Kathy returned to the plan for opening the spa with Sara.

Sara has been in the health and wellness industry for over 17 years. Her love and passion has always been to help others feel good. She knows that when people feel good, they treat others better, so servicing clients is her way of making our world a better place. And for Kathy, she had always dreamed of having her own business and being her own boss. They began their search around Murrieta, CA for the perfect location and began making plans to open Noor Day Spa this Spring.

However, due to delays in renovation and permitting, these two best friends and newbie entrepreneurs have run into a few snags. Funds are still needed to help pay for equipment, interior design, supplies, advertising, and more and the opening date is right around the corner.
