Inland Empire Gas Prices Nearing Lowest Level in 6 Months

On average, it's the cheapest since Feb. 22.

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire dropped a half-cent Tuesday to $3.834, its lowest amount since Feb. 22.

The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties is 3.3 cents less than one week ago and one year ago and 21.9 cents lower than one month ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price was unchanged Monday after dropping 39 times in the previous 40 days.
