Inland Empire Gasoline Prices Drops to Lowest Amount Since Feb. 25

The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties has dropped 36 of the past 37 days.

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire dropped Thursday to its lowest amount since Feb. 25, decreasing 1.2 cents to $3.854.

The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties has dropped 36 of the past 37 days. It is 4 cents less than one week ago, 24.7 cents lower than one month ago and 5.3 cents below what it was one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The dropping prices are the result of an improving supply situation combined with typical downward trends at the end of summer, according to Jeffrey Spring of the Automobile Club of Southern California.
