Interstate 215 Lane Closures Due To Moreno Valley Crash
The crash occurred shortly before 1 p.m. Monday on southbound I-215 at Van Buren Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol.

MORENO VALLEY, CA — A collision Monday on Interstate 215 in Moreno Valley involving an SUV and a pickup truck caused the latter vehicle to overturn in lanes, prompting a partial closure of the southbound side of the freeway.
The crash occurred shortly before 1 p.m. on southbound I-215 at Van Buren Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The agency said the two vehicles impacted, resulting in the pickup rolling at least once in the No. 3 lane. No other details were immediately available.
Riverside County Fire Department crews reached the location within minutes and assessed parties in both vehicles for injuries, but none required medical attention, according to reports from the scene.
CHP officers shut down three of four southbound lanes to clear debris and conduct a preliminary investigation.
A Sigalert was issued because of the closures and ensuing traffic jam. All lanes were expected to be reopened by 2:30 p.m., the CHP said.
The cause of the collision was under investigation.
