Pasadena, Calif. September 23, 2016 — The Southern California Permanente Medical Group has been awarded the 2016 Excellence in Healthcare Award from the Integrated Healthcare Association (IHA) for top performance on clinical quality, patient experience and cost measures.

Of the 200-plus physician organizations participating in California, only thirty-four physician organizations attained the Excellence in Healthcare Award performance standards for 2016, and of those, twenty-four represented Permanente Medical Groups.
