La Cresta Crash Injures 1 Near Santa Rosa Plateau: CHP

One person was taken to the hospital with injuries after a large work truck and sedan collided.

LA CRESTA, CA —One person was injured early Wednesday when a work vehicle and sedan collided, according to California Highway Patrol dispatch.

Shortly before 7:45 a.m., a white Ford F550 and a white Nissan sedan crashed at Clinton Keith Road at Avenida La Cresta, causing injury, according to CHP. Both vehicles moved to the east side of Clinton Keith Road in front of the Santa Rosa Plateau.

Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department was called to the scene to assess the victims and one patient was taken to the hospital by ambulance for treatment of minor injuries, according to Cal Fire spokesperson Jasmine Wood. No one else was injured or requested assistance, she said.

Traffic control was briefly required at the scene while tow trucks removed vehicles that suffered moderate damage.
