Lake Elsinore Motorcyclist Dies After Crashing On Cal Oaks, I-15 Exit
The Murrieta crash just off Interstate 15 was reported shortly after 7:30 a.m. Sunday. The coroner publicly identified the victim on Monday.

MURRIETA, CA — A 33-year-old motorcyclist from Lake Elsinore has died after crashing his bike over the weekend on the southbound Interstate 15 offramp to California Oaks Road in Murrieta.
At about 7:37 a.m. Sunday, the man, identified as Johnny Martinez, was riding solo on a 2006 Harley-Davidson in the offramp's #1 lane at an unknown speed. For reasons still under investigation, he failed to negotiate the ramp's curve, according to a preliminary report from the California Highway Patrol.
After traveling over 200 feet on the dirt shoulder, the bike overturned and Martinez was ejected onto a rock-covered portion of the shoulder, the CHP reported.
