Large Murrieta Police Presence Seen Tuesday Amid K-9 Training

If you spot police in this Murrieta block, do not be alarmed: There's a K-9 training session underway.

MURRIETA, CA — A large, multijurisdictional K-9 training was scheduled to take place Tuesday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the area of 29500 Via Princessa, police confirmed.

Police may be seen driving in the area of Murrieta Hot Springs Road and Via Princessa, near the Murrieta Tennis Club, the Murrieta Hot Springs Resort, and the Congregation B'Nai Chaim building.

"This facility is currently vacant. The owners of the property have graciously allowed us to use this site for training," police said.

If you see police cars from in and around Southwest Riverside County and the city of Murrieta, do not be alarmed.

"There will be police cars from several municipalities in and around the City of Murrieta during this training time," a spokesperson for the department shared over social media.
