Little Change to Gasoline Price Near Murrieta

Average price is now $2.721 in the Inland Empire.

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire dropped one-tenth of a cent Monday to $2.721, the fourth consecutive day it has changed by one-tenth of a cent.

The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties is two-tenths of a cent more than one week ago, but 15.3 cents less than one month ago and 27 cents lower than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The lower monthly and weekly average prices are mainly the result of a 14.8-cent drop during an 18-day streak of decreases that ended last Monday.

The average price rose by one-tenth of a cent on Friday and dropped one- tenth of a cent on Saturday and Sunday.
