Little Lakes House Fire Displaces 5 Residents, Red Cross Assists
Cal Fire/ Riverside County Firefighters battled a single story house fire on Vanderbilt Court.

HEMET, CA —Five people were displaced Tuesday when fire ripped through a home in the Little Lake area near Hemet.
Riverside County Fire Department crews responded shortly after 9 a.m. to the blaze burning initially in the garage of a single-story, single-family home in the 26000 block of Vanderbilt Court.
No injuries were immediately reported, but fire officials said the American Red Cross was summoned to assist four adults and one child displaced by the blaze.

There was no immediate word on the cause of the fire. Crews remained at the scene late Tuesday morning to continue dousing hot spots and investigating what sparked the blaze.
