William Lynes MD (1953-present) is a Stanford trained, Board Certified, retired urologist. While in private practice, he suffered two life-threatening illnesses requiring intensive-unit care, each providing inspiration for his first novel, Luger Rounds. His family are the inspiration for his fantasy/adventure story Pirates,Scoundrels and Kings, a novel of adventure and fantasy set in an illusionary medievil world. He is currently working on a two volume fiction title about an alcoholic urologist set in Galveston, Texas. He and his wife, Patrice, have three grown children and live in Temecula, California.

Not only do the Friends provide support to the Murrieta Public Library through fund-raising, advocacy and volunteerism, they promote awareness of and support the Library as it serves the informational, educational, cultural and recreational needs of our community.

Join the Friends of the Murrieta Library as they welcome Dr. Lynes at their General Meeting held the second Tuesday of the month. Come visit with new friends and neighbors and enjoy the programs. Refreshments are served.
