Local Gas Price at Lowest Amount Since October 2010

Prices keep falling!

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire dropped Monday to its lowest amount since Oct. 12, 2010, decreasing a half-cent to $3.079.

The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties has dropped 52 consecutive days and 131 of the past 139, decreasing $1.07 over that span, including nine-tenths of a cent on Sunday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price is 6.4 cents less than one week ago, 33.9 cents lower than one month ago and 48.8 cents below what it was one year ago.
