Man Arrested for Multiple Indecent Exposure Incidents

A man suspected of exposing himself to multiple female victims over a six-month period was behind bars Thursday, authorities said.
Aaron Vincent Acevedo, 28, was booked at the Southwest Detention Center in Murrieta on six counts of indecent exposure, Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Sgt. Steve Brosche said.
Acevedo was being held on $75,000 bail.

Over the past six months, sheriff’s deputies received seven reports of a man exposing himself in the Rosetta Canyon area of Lake Elsinore, Brosche said.
In the first incident, Acevedo allegedly exposed himself to a minor child and then disappeared into the surrounding neighborhood and the following six incidents happened at or around Rosetta Canyon Community Park, Brosche said.

Acevedo used a white 1995 Acura Legend during several of the incidents, which happened during the night and early morning hours, the sergeant said.
He also was seen running naked on several streets near the park.
Detectives are looking for any similar incidents that may have gone unreported. Police asked anyone with additional information to contact Detective Mike Kelleher at (951) 245-3300.
