Motorcyclist Killed In SW Riverside County Crash ID'd By Coroner

MENIFEE, CA — A motorcyclist killed in a Menifee crash Sunday afternoon has been identified as a 22-year-old Winchester man.

Raul Hernandez died at the scene in the 27000 block of state Route 74 at 3rd Street shortly after 3 p.m., the Riverside County Sheriff Coroner's Bureau reported.

According to the preliminary investigation by sheriff's deputies, Hernandez was riding westbound on SR-74 when an eastbound motorist made a left turn onto 3rd Street in front of him. Hernandez crashed head-on into the vehicle.

Alcohol and/or drugs do not appear to be crash factors, according to the sheriff's department.
