Murrieta City Council Races, Districts 3, 4: CA Election
Murrieta City Council is a five-member, non-partisan board. Council members are elected by-district to serve four-year terms.

MURRIETA, CA — The 2020 presidential election is here, but local politics arguably have a greater impact on communities. In Murrieta, residents in districts 3 and 4 are picking who they want to represent them for the next four years on city council.
In District 3, the candidates are Steven Brown and Lisa DeForest. The winner will replace incumbent Gene Wunderlich, who was appointed to the council and is not running in 2020.
In District 4, incumbent Dennis Kelly Seyarto is instead running for the 67th Assembly District seat that was vacated when Assemblywoman Melissa Melendez was elected to the 28th State Senate District in the primary. The District 4 candidates are Lori Stone and David Kolk.
