Murrieta Costco's Foundation Completed: When Will It Open?
Residents have watched huge boom trucks spreading concrete over the 150,000+ square foot foundation as all await its grand opening.

MURRIETA, CA — Murrieta's new Costco is making progress, the city reports this week.
Coming soon to the Clinton Keith Road at Warm Spring Parkway in the Vineyard Shopping Center, east of the 215, the city hopes the new megastore will ease southbound traffic by June.
Current businesses include Starbucks, Jamba Juice, Farmer Boys, Ramona Tire, and Quick Quack. Other companies in "various phases of development" include Blaze Pizza, Chick Fil A, Plant Power, Chipotle, Chase Bank, Verizon, WingStop, Albertos, Sportclips, etc.

According to a city spokesperson, Murrieta plans on synchronizing the lights and extending Warm Springs Parkway to Linnel Lane “at some point in the future."
The store will have 800 parking spaces, a warehouse, a tire center, a food court and a 32-pump gas station.
The 6-inch foundation is now set, according to a city spokesperson, all 152,838 square feet of the warehouse space.
"That's 650 yards of concrete, or 65-70 trucks worth!" they said.
The city says they have an "aggressive construction schedule" to complete the Costco, with crews working six days a week to make that June deadline.
