Murrieta Father, Educator, Announces Candidacy For MVUSD Trustee Area 3

MURRIETA, CA — A Murrieta Valley Unified School District parent and higher education professional, Elliot Emmer, has officially announced his candidacy for the Murrieta Valley Unified School District Board of Education, representing Trustee Area 3, according to a recent news release.

“I’m running for the Murrieta Valley School Board for a simple reason: my kids,” Emmer said. “I want them to
have a bright future in our schools, and I want the same for every child in Murrieta.”

Emmer’s campaign is grounded in a commitment to student achievement, responsible fiscal stewardship, and steady leadership rooted in transparency and accountability.

Emmer currently serves as Senior Director of Development at the University of California, Riverside School of Public Policy, where he builds partnerships that support student success and educational opportunity. His professional experience, combined with his family’s daily involvement in the Murrieta community, gives him a practical understanding of what students, parents, and educators need to thrive.
