MURRIETA, CA — A Murrieta house caught fire on Monday morning, fire and police officials report. The incident broke out around 6:30 a.m. in the area of Los Alamos and Whitewood roads.
Firefighters said they got the flames under control within about 15 minutes at the single-story residence on Camino Hermosa, near Corte Pawnee.
Photos from the scene show crews accessing the structure via the roof as flames and smoke billowed out.
