Murrieta Innovation Center Brings In First International Startup

The Murrieta Innovation Center at 26442 Beckman Court is designed to nurture startups and help them grow into thriving local businesses.

MURRIETA, CA — Murrieta's business incubator has signed its first international startup, the city announced Monday.

Netherlands-based Super Family joins 13 U.S.-based startups currently housed at the Murrieta Innovation Center, 26442 Beckman Court.

Super Family is a healthcare organization that focuses on social development, mental healthcare, educational support, development of new methods, research, and activities for families, according to the city's announcement. The venture's target clients are mainly children with non-visible disabilities and developmental language disorder.

The Murrieta Innovation Center focuses on new life-science startups. The aim is to help the young ventures grow into viable businesses that will eventually bring high-paying jobs to Southwest Riverside County.

“The Murrieta Innovation Center is proud to welcome Super Family as the first international startup to join our incubator," said Scott Agajanian, the city's director of economic development."Their focus on social-emotional development aligns perfectly with the center’s goal to support companies that fill needed services in our region. Mental healthcare is a vital growth industry and Super Family has created an innovative way to assist children with Development Language Disorder, as well as many other challenges in a child-centric environment. We are delighted to partner with Super Family and bring this wonderful concept to Murrieta."

The Murrieta Innovation Center was established by the city of Murrieta in 2012; in 2020, the city contracted local nonprofit Impact Southwest Riverside County to manage the center. The facility supports startups with a clean room, wet and dry lab, conference space, mentorship, networking opportunities, and resources to start and grow their businesses.
