Man Dies Inside Murrieta Apartment, Police Investigating As Homicide

MURRIETA, CA — A man was found dead inside a Murrieta apartment on Tuesday morning, and Murrieta Homicide Detectives are seeking suspects.

Shortly before 9:15 a.m., Murrieta Police Department officers were called to the scene at The Arbors at California Oaks apartments, located at 24375 Jackson Avenue.

"Upon arrival, officers found a man dead inside an apartment," Capt. Jeremy Durant reported. "Based on preliminary information, the circumstances surrounding the death are being investigated as a homicide."

The victim, 30-year-old Aaron Parr, was a resident of Murrieta.

"This investigation remains active and ongoing, and no additional information is available for release at this time," Durant said.
