Murrieta: Where We Put Community First
Murrieta, CA—The City of Murrieta and Murrieta/Wildomar Chamber of Commerce are proud to present the 32nd Annual Murrieta State of the City on Thursday, June 15, 2023, at the Murrieta Hot Springs Resort Conference Center. Mayor Dr. Lisa DeForest will deliver the address at 7 p.m., inspired by the healthy ecosystem created in Murrieta, where residents are connected by safety, innovation, activity, and quality of life. Mayor DeForest’s 7 p.m. address is open to the public and free to attend. Preceding the event, the Murrieta/Wildomar Chamber of Commerce will host a VIP reception featuring local sips and bites from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Tickets for the VIP reception are available for $45. There is no cost to attend the State of the City presentation, and the community is welcome and encouraged to be a part of the special event.
“My goal as mayor has always been to create a healthy dialogue between the constituents and our local government. I am honored to share about the many exciting things happening in Murrieta right now and connect our residents and businesses directly with our City staff who work diligently to create the exceptional community we all love to serve,” shared Murrieta Mayor DeForest. This year’s event will feature a special area where attendees can meet with various City of Murrieta departments to learn more about the valuable services the City provides. This opportunity will connect the City team with residents and businesses and highlight the departments that make Murrieta the engaged, safe, and healthy community that it is.
Historically, the City and Chamber have been collaborative partners in hosting the event, reflecting the collective goal of community and business success.
“We are always pleased to partner with the City of Murrieta for the State of the City Address,” says Murrieta/Wildomar Chamber of Commerce President/CEO Patrick Ellis. “Highlighting the achievements and hard work of the City Council and staff, as well as the vision for the coming years, is inspiring,” shared Ellis. “I encourage business and community members to come hear Mayor DeForest’s address and gain a greater understanding of all that goes into making Murrieta a healthy community!”
