Murrieta Mesa High Pitchers Rack Up Victories
Rams pitchers JB Bishop and Daniel Robinson notch victories for the Rams in the Anaheim Lion's Varsity Baseball Tournament.

Murrieta Mesa’s baseball team is spending time in Disneyland's home city, but there’s no mouse ears or Matterhorn in sight. Instead, the Rams have won two games in the Anaheim Lion’s Varsity Baseball Tournament.
In their first game against Buena Park, pitcher JB Bishop earned a 7-6 victory in relief. Entering the game with one out in the third inning, and his team trailing 6-2, Bishop struck out the first two batters he faced to get the Rams out of the inning.
He then tossed four more innings of shutout ball, allowing Murrieta Mesa to mount a comeback for the victory. Bishop threw 4 2/3 scoreless innings while giving up one hit and striking out six.
